About this piece.
Low and wide, with the black lines spalting draws through mango wood. A bowl for the middle of the table.
Mango: golden brown, often with curly figure and the dark lines of spalting, and it holds its shape well once dry. More about mango.
Like everything Kaleb sells, it came from a tree that was coming down anyway. The wood dried slowly and went back on the lathe when it was ready, and there’s only one of this one.

Pick it up in Kāneʻohe by appointment, or choose shipping in your bag. Wood going to the mainland needs a USDA agricultural inspection before it’s mailed.
